This notice covers visitors to the sedakocyigit.com website and people who contact us through it. Information about data processed during examination and treatment at the clinic is provided separately at the clinic.
The information in the form is not stored on the website's server. When you press "Book Appointment", your message is prepared in WhatsApp on your own device. It is only sent to the clinic's WhatsApp line when you press send in WhatsApp. If you decide not to send it, no information reaches us.
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law:
- To receive and respond to appointment requests: processing directly related to entering into or performing a contract
- For website security: the legitimate interest of the data controller, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms
- For obligations arising from legislation: compliance with a legal obligation
- For health information you choose to send: processing by a physician bound by professional confidentiality for the purposes of medical diagnosis, treatment and care
- For analytics cookies: your explicit consent
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): Your messages are delivered through WhatsApp when you choose to send them. WhatsApp's servers may be located outside Turkey.
- Google (Google Analytics): Only if you accept cookies, usage statistics are processed on Google's servers outside Turkey.
- YouTube and Google Maps: Videos are not loaded until you click them. The map loads when it comes into view if you have accepted cookies, and otherwise only when you click "Load interactive map". Once loaded, you connect to that service, which may process data under its own policies.
- Hosting provider: The technical infrastructure needed to run the website.
- Authorised public bodies: Where required by law.
Transfers outside Turkey are made in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the Law.
Personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the periods required by the relevant legislation. Appointment messages are deleted within a reasonable period after your request has been dealt with; if you become a patient at the clinic, the retention periods in health legislation apply. When the period ends, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Cookies and similar technologies used on this website:
- Necessary: Remembering your cookie choice (stored in your browser, contains no personal data).
- Analytics (with your consent): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*). Used to measure visit statistics and may be kept for up to 2 years. If you do not accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- Third-party content: YouTube videos may use their own cookies only when you click to load them, and Google Maps only if you accept cookies or load the map yourself.

- Request information about it if it has been processed,
- Find out the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- Know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred,
- Ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions set out in the Law,
- Ask for any correction, deletion or destruction to be notified to third parties to whom it was transferred,
- Object to a result against you arising exclusively from analysis by automated systems,
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller; if the request involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
